Afon Teifi Caravan Park is ideally situated in the heart of the Teifi Valley just two miles from the market town of Newcastle Emlyn.

This makes it the perfect location for exploring the diverse West Wales countryside and beaches with the added pleasure of being able to study the abundant wildlife including the seals and dolphins of Cardigan Bay.

The West Wales coastline surprises first time visitors as it provides such a wide variety of features from clean sandy beaches, rugged cliff faces to secluded coves with rock pools and caves.

The coastal footpaths are ideal for the casual walk or the adventurous hike and offer spectacular views along the Cardigan Bay coastline through to the distant Snowdonia Mountains of North Wales.

Cardigan Bay is famous for its resident dolphins and the grey seals that populate the cliff edges. The sunsets are often spectacular as the setting sun is seen to its very end where it finally dips over the distant horizon.

The local area is full of attractions so that you can obtain that true West Wales flavour. Visit working farms, woolen and flour mills, cheese making displays, the local chocolate factory, steam railways; in fact the list goes on and on.

Newcastle Emlyn

2 miles away - a bustling market town with its Castle and lots of history. A leisure centre with swimming pool. Many Restaurants and cafes - never short of somewhere to eat, supermarkets and many other shops. An annual Food Festival is held in June.

Game Fishing

Afon Teifi is famous for its game fishing, the River Teifi meanders along the edge of the park. This provides the opportunity for the novice or expert to fish for that most prized of fish, the wild salmon which, together with the sea trout, fights the currents and rapids to reach their spawning grounds up river.

The River Teifi offers premier game fishing for salmon, sea trout (sewin) and brown trout. Whether you are a complete novice or an international expert, the Teifi provides a diverse range of game fishing where you are able to spin, worm, float or fly fish. The local angling club, The Teifi Trout Association, has over 24 miles of fishing on the lower Teifi between Llechryd Bridge and Henllan. Day, weekly and season tickets are available from our reception but you will need an Environmental Agency game fishing license.
